Spot and Swat

Exhibit: THRT 2012

Clabots designed this piece for an American Design Club’s Gallery Show, entitled THREAT: Objects of Defense and Protection. Designers were asked the question, “when you hear something go bump in the night, what do you grab?” Clabots instinctively conjured a bat, a classic defense weapon. Improving on an already near-perfect design, Clabots added the concept of a heavy-duty flashlight which allows one to spot the intruder prior to taking action.
