Oculus Sundial

Concept: 2017

Derived from primitive geometry, the Oculus sundial is a modern take on an old typology. Its design details are only possible to create through 3D printing, in this case printed in bronze. Because of each piece being printed on demand, the angle of the Gnomon can be precisely customized to be accurate at any specific point in the world, in this case New York. Evan Clabots designed and fabricated the Oculus Sundial.
