Serif Bench

Client: Burrow 2020

The Serif Bench is a timeless, universal design drawn from mid-century Danish Modernism. The precision-milled hardwood tops allow for and subtly curved edge and a bevel detail that makes it inviting to the touch. The powder-coated steel stretchers strengthen the legs, providing a little modern visual interest. The bench comes packed in a convenient box, with a simple assembly process that takes less than five minutes to do without any tools. Evan Clabots led the design and development of the Serif Bench for Burrow, working with project designer George Coffin and the in-house product development team to bring it to life.

The design packs flat for shipping and goes together with with no tools, is extra sturdy, and looks bench made.
