Prospect Dresser
Client: Burrow 2021
The Prospect Dresser system is modular and expandable. They’re available in tall (5 drawers) or low (3 drawers) configurations and start as a single wide unit with the ability to expand up to triple wide units. The entire system goes together with no tools. Constructed in LDF (not particle board) with real ash veneer, the Prospect Dressers are available in walnut and oak finish and are built to last. They go together with no tools and feature soft-close drawers, integrated anti-tip hardware, and a top surround edge to keep your items on top from falling off. Whether it is setting your Prospect Dresser up for the first time or expanding it as your life and wardrobe grow, it is easy to construct with no tools and provides a strong and sturdy staple that is built to handle the overfilling of which we are all guilty. Evan Clabots led the design and development of the Prospect Dresser System for Burrow, working with project designer Niko Economidis and the in-house product development team to bring it to life.
Modular Components for a Modular Design
The legs and leg plates allow for two different attachment applications. The leg and plate assemblies can be attached in the corners, or they can be screwed in across the gap between two units utilizing the same threaded inserts. This allows the connecting leg and plate assemblies to evenly support each unit while recessing these legs back from the front edge so that they hide away in the shadow line under the dresser and gives the overall unit a less modular look.
