P-1 Pilot Watch

Client: Aera Instruments 2018

The P-1 Pilot Watch was created as part of the launch collection of Aera Instruments in an edition of 300. It borrows from the tradition of both the Type-A and Type-B pilot watches. Aware of its heritage, it has its own presence as a modern tool watch. Made of 904L stainless steel with double curved sapphire crystal, the watch features a reverse pie-pan dial with Super-LumiNova markings and hands. The case shape makes use of modern manufacturing techniques to offer a dynamic form from any angle. Evan Clabots directed the design of the P-1 for Aera Instruments, working with project designer Joshua Skirtich and the in-house product development team to bring it to life.
