Chorus Bed
Client: Burrow 2021
The Chorus Bed does the one thing every single bed should do well: provide a quiet, stable platform for sleep, because a creaky, wobbly, or otherwise distracting bed should be the last thing keeping you up at night. The clean lines and unfussy aesthetic fit with almost any design scheme as the centerpiece that you build your bedroom around. The Chorus Bed is available in an all-wood version or fully upholstered version, both with and without a headboard. The bedframes and headboards are modular, allowing you to mix and match to create your own perfect combo: walnut bed with charcoal upholstered headboard. The innovative, simple construction of the frame allows the four sides of the frame to be attached using the legs in each corner. The center beam simply lays in and provides support for the two rows of connected slats that roll into place. If you include a headboard, it is easily attached with four ergonomic hand screws. Whether it is setting your Chorus Bed up for the first time or taking it apart and reassembling it in a move, it is easy to construct with no tools and provides a strong, squeak-free universal centerpiece to build your bedroom around. Evan Clabots led the design and development of the Chorus Bed for Burrow, working with project designer Brian Ornduff and the in-house product development team to bring it to life.
