Barrow Chair

Exhibit: Core 77 Open 2012

Inspiration for this chair came from the common use of a wheelbarrow as a lounge seat during break time while on a worksite. Clabots considered this functionality and selectively adapted the form of a traditional wheelbarrow to highlight its most dynamic lines. The structure brought a new purpose and character to a timeless and familiar object.
