Puma Concept ShoeProduct Design - Studio Dror
Client: Puma 2005
Driven by the desire to distill a shoe down to its essence, the inspiration came from the observation that most people, if the shoe allows it, will step down on their heel to slide their foot free of the shoe. The result is a minimal form where the iconic side striping also functions as a flexible fastener, allowing the heel to flip down for easy exit and stay in the open position until it’s wearer latches it shut once more by sliding his foot in.
