Clamp Coffee Table

Exhibit: Lift Hold Roll 2010

This RTA coffee table employs four wood clamps as the table’s principal fasteners. The product is constructed out of pickled oak and steel clamps with a 1/2″ tempered glass top. 

This table was originally developed for the “Lift Hold Roll” design show hosted by the American Design Club at the Future Perfect in Williamsburg Brooklyn, 2010. The prompt for the show was to design a piece of furniture around either pullies, clamps, or casters as a main functional element.
